G8X M3 / M4 Carbon Vented Hood

The Alpha-N G8X M3 / M4 Carbon Vented Hood is a motorsport-derived upgrade engineered for the BMW G80 M3, G81 M3 Touring, G82 M4, and G83 M4 models. Manufactured in Germany using premium Italian pre-preg carbon fiber with internal Kevlar reinforcement, this vented hood offers a substantial weight reduction of approximately 40% compared to the factory aluminum hood, dropping from 28 lbs to just 17 lbs. This reduction in front-end mass helps improve vehicle dynamics, including steering response and front axle load balance. The integrated vent design is functional, strategically placed to efficiently evacuate hot air from the engine bay. This feature supports improved thermal management during aggressive driving, track use, or in high ambient temperatures, contributing to overall engine efficiency. The hood's construction prioritizes strength and minimal weight, utilizing a 2x2 twill carbon fiber weave and avoiding fiberglass backing or excessive resin. This Alpha-N hood is supplied in a raw carbon fiber finish and requires professional painting or clear coating before installation. Applying only a clear coat may reveal the natural surface texture characteristic of ultra-lightweight motorsport carbon fiber. This product is considered a motorsport/export component. Road use approval is the responsibility of the customer and may necessitate individual inspection depending on the region. Professional installation is recommended.
