G8XM Dual Mount Differential Cover

The Turner Motorsport G8XM Dual Mount Differential Cover is engineered to harness unused potential in the G8X M3/M4 drivetrain, providing enhanced strength and cooling performance. It leverages the secondary differential mount location found in the rear subframe, which is left unused from the factory, to offer a second point of support. This addition improves rigidity, reduces differential movement, and enhances driveline response under load, thereby minimizing wheel hop and extending bushing life. Constructed from CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this cover offers high strength and a precise fit without adding unnecessary weight. Its aggressive fin profile increases surface area for improved heat dissipation, helping to lower differential fluid temperatures in demanding conditions. Internally, an embossed channel follows the ring gear's path to ensure consistent fluid contact for optimal cooling and lubrication. The cover maintains a 1.1-liter fluid capacity, consistent with OEM specifications, and includes integrated -6 AN ports that allow for the addition of an external differential cooler. It is compatible with the factory differential fluid temperature sensor and also provides provisions for 1/4” NPT aftermarket sensors. Developed in-house by Turner Motorsport's R&D team, this differential cover has undergone extensive testing using advanced tools like FARO laser scanning and SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling. It is designed for spirited street driving and track use, ensuring the G8X delivers the response, strength, and cooling capacity needed for high-performance applications.
