The Gaerne SG-22 Boots are the reimagined and refined iteration of Gaerne's top-shelf SG-12 boots, designed for elite-performance in off-road motorcycle competition. These boots combine Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge materials and technical solutions. Key features include a 3D Main Body Toe Box for increased flexibility and easier shifting, and Aluminum Superlight Buckles with a new finish. The top buckle is adjustable to three positions, and the frontal shin plate has two positions for a wider range of adjustability and knee brace compatibility. Ventilation is enhanced with two large vents on the front shin plate and 3D channels for air circulation to dissipate heat and evacuate humidity.

Ergonomically, the SG-22 features a redesigned ankle hinge that mimics natural ankle movement while maintaining safety. The new rear Razorback reduces weight and, with the Gaerne Dual Stage Pivot System, protects against hyperextension, hyperflexion, and lateral movements. The interior boasts re-engineered memory foam for a custom ankle and foot fit. The inner leg area has Grip Guard rubber for improved protection and increased friction. The sole incorporates dual-density inserts for grip and durability, while the Microshock heel uses multiple densities to decrease force on the ankle and heel during cornering. With Goodyear Welted construction, the sole is replaceable. An improved steel toe cap reduces overall toe height. These boots are approximately 17 inches tall (depending on size) and offer 9/10 stiffness. They are made in Italy and CE certified according to EN 13634:2017.
