The Gaerne SG-22 is a top-tier motocross and off-road race boot, building upon the successful SG-12. It features a 3D Main Body Toe Box for increased flexibility and quicker shifting, and Aluminum Superlight Buckles with multiple adjustment positions for a personalized fit around the calf and knee brace. Ventilation is improved with large vents and 3D channels for air circulation. The redesigned ankle hinge geometry mimics natural ankle movement while maintaining safety through the Dual Stage Pivot System, which prevents hyperextension, hyperflexion, and lateral movements. Internally, memory foam molds to the ankle for stability, and Grip Guard rubber on the inner leg enhances protection and rider feel. The sole incorporates dual-density inserts for grip and durability, while the Microshock heel reduces impact forces. The boots utilize Goodyear Welted construction, allowing for sole replacement, and have an improved steel toe cap. They are CE certified according to EN 13634:2017 and made in Italy.
