The Garrett GT3071R Turbo Super Core is a high-performance turbocharger engineered to boost engines ranging from 2.5L to 3.5L in displacement, delivering a power output of 280 to 480 horsepower. This turbocharger features a ball bearing configuration for improved efficiency and durability, along with a water-cooled Center Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) to manage heat effectively. The compressor wheel boasts original GT Series aerodynamics with a 71mm exducer and 53mm inducer, and a 0.50 A/R. The turbine side features a 55mm exducer, 60mm inducer, and an 84 trim. Garrett notes that the horsepower figures are calculated based on the compressor map's choke flow, representing potential flywheel horsepower. Actual performance is significantly influenced by the vehicle's specific modifications and the quality of tuning and calibration. The GT3071R is interchangeable with GT, GTX Gen I, and GTX Gen II 30 Series Supercores. Garrett Turbo Technologies provides a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of shipment, subject to limitations.
