This is a Garrett G40 Turbine Housing Kit with a 0.85 A/R, V-Band Entry, and V-Band exit. It is designed to customize turbochargers for different engine capacities and A/R values. It features standard rotation, 84 trim, and is set up for an external wastegate, with mounting parts included. The A/R value is critical as it determines the exhaust gas flow rate, influencing the turbocharger's response and overall engine performance. A smaller A/R value results in earlier turbocharger response but can lead to increased exhaust back pressure and reduced maximum power output.
