Description

The Garrett G55-2900 106mm Core (880546-5012S) is a high-performance Cartridge Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) designed for extreme applications. It features a G-Series Aero forged milled compressor wheel and a high-flow compressor housing with an integrated speed sensor port. The CHRA has a standard (clockwise) rotation and utilizes 16mm dual ceramic ball bearing cartridges for durability and efficiency. The turbine wheel is a high-flow Inconel design, offering a 28% increase in flow compared to the GTX55 Gen II. It is air- and oil-cooled and designed for use with an external wastegate.
