Its monotube design offers superior responsiveness to road conditions, automatically adjusting for optimal performance. This shock absorber aims to provide a slightly firmer ride compared to stock, effectively limiting body roll during cornering and reducing nose dive during braking. It features a compressed length of 11.85 inches, a STEM upper mount, and an EYELET bottom mount. Key specifications include a compressed length of 11.85 inches and an extended length of 18.94 inches, with a travel of 7.09 inches. The Gas-A-Just shock utilizes two separate working chambers: one for the air-free hydraulic piston and valve area to ensure responsiveness, and a second high-pressure chamber. The product is highlighted as a factory upgrade for improved handling and includes all necessary washers, bushings, and nuts for installation, reusing factory shock mounting bolts. Shock boots are sold separately.
