The Heatshield Products HP Cool Can Shield is a utility jug heat shield designed to fit Scribner-style, 5-gallon, square utility jugs. Fabricated from lightweight aluminized material, it acts as a UV heat shield and protects contents from solar radiation.

This shield can reduce utility jug temperatures by up to 20 degrees F compared to unprotected jugs and may increase the lifespan of the jug by 50 percent.
