The Monroe 553025 Magnum Severe Service Suspension Strut is engineered for demanding applications like emergency, municipal, fleet, and jobsite vehicles. It features 10-stage valving for adaptability to varying road conditions, helping to manage frequent stops, heavy loads, and extensive mileage. The strut is designed to improve performance by maintaining tire-to-road contact, achieved through a nitrogen gas-charge that reduces aeration and shock fade. Durability is enhanced with a heavy-duty chrome rod and PTFE-banded piston, while a PTFE-coated bearing minimizes friction.
