Description

The Taylor Made 1826-50 is a 15-inch gas strut designed to replace worn or damaged shocks on boat hatches and dock boxes. Constructed from coated annealed steel, it offers corrosion resistance, making it suitable for saltwater environments. This strut features a 10-millimeter ball socket connection type and provides 50 pounds of output force.

Installation is straightforward and can be completed in minutes without special tools. It is recommended to install the inner rod facing down and to replace gas shocks in pairs. The length is measured from the center of one ball socket to the center of the other.
