Made In USA. Installing an oil pump screen can often cause damage to the protective gaskets and O Rings if the screen assembly is not properly installed. In the event that the original seals are damaged or accidently discarded Melling offers a replacement gasket set for oil pump screen installations covering the LS oil pumps. Each package conveniently contains both replacement O Rings needed to complete the oil pump screen installation. These gasket sets can be used for the M295, M295HV, M355, M365, 10295, 10296 and 10355 oil pumps.

The Melling M29517 is an oil pump pickup tube O-ring kit designed for LS-based V8 engines. A common cause of low oil pressure in high-mileage or aged LS engines is the hardening of these O-rings due to age and heat, which can lead to air being pulled past the seal. This kit includes both styles and thicknesses of O-rings used on LS engines, along with instructions to help identify the correct seal.
