GASS RS-A Forged Aluminum Wheel Set

The OZ Motorbike GASS RS-A Forged Aluminum Wheel Set is engineered as the lightest street DOT forged aluminum wheel from OZ. This wheel set is specifically designed for the Honda CBR1000RR-R and SP models from 2021 onward. This wheel set is constructed using a FEM (finite element method) design to optimize weight, strength, and rigidity. The specially treated billet aluminum alloy undergoes a bi-directional forging process, creating a more uniform and stronger metal structure. Further refinement through heat treating, shot peening, and CNC finishing results in an extremely lightweight and rigid wheel. The reduced rotational mass decreases the moment of inertia, leading to quicker acceleration and braking, while also lowering un-sprung weight and gyroscopic effect for improved handling and quicker turn-in. Weight specifications for the set include the front wheel at 17" x 3.5" weighing 7.1 lbs, and the rear wheel at 17" x 6.0" weighing 9.75 lbs. The set includes essential components such as bearings, aluminum angled valve stems, and axle spacers as applicable. It is important to note that double-sided swingarm bikes may require a specific rear sprocket for OZ Motorbike Wheels, such as those from AFAM Drive Systems or Driven.
