Winters “Sidewinder” gated shifters. Completely assembled console style shifter that uses a 5 ft. cable and includes all the mounting hardware. The Winters shifter’s superior rugged construction makes it a stand out in both form and function. The built in Fail-Safe feature eliminates any possibility of mis-shifting into the reverse position by utilizing a sturdy steel guard bar that makes it mechanically impossible to accidentally shift into reverse from any forward gear. The shifter won’t jam or bind and offers clean responsive shifting through all gears. The Winters gated shifter uses a high grade cable that provides clean crisp shifts into the correct gear you are looking for without that springy feel. The Winters shifter can be installed on any street, strip or off road transmission. We offer all gating options for the GM shifters with the exception on the Power Glide. On the Ford and Torqueflite transmissions we offer the Stock and Rock Crawler gates. Please Note: The reverse shifter gates must have a transmission with a reverse valve body. The shifter does offer a neutral safety lockout switch that can be added to the purchase of the shifter at an additional cost.
