The Gates RPM High Performance Timing Belt (T312RB) is designed to protect engine investments while delivering high performance. It is constructed of HNBR elastomeric composites, making it incredibly strong and extremely heat resistant, capable of withstanding the rigors of higher horsepower engines. It installs and fits like the original equipment (OE) version, offering superior durability, performance, and extended life. Its superior construction reduces the chance of engine damage, especially on interference engines. The specially-formulated HNBR rubber compound provides up to three times the heat resistance compared to standard belts, and its gripping teeth are reinforced with aramid and nylon cover to minimize wear. This timing belt is as much as 300% stronger than a standard aftermarket belt.
