Gates 02-05 Volkswagen Passat V-6 2.8L Lower Molded Coolant Hose

The Gates 24484 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is designed to fit specific applications and is manufactured to be similar to OEM specifications. It includes essential integrated OE components such as hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors, and restrictors. It is engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, a primary cause of hose failure. The hose meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 for IDs under 25mm (1 inch) and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for IDs 25mm (1 inch) and over. It features an EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and a heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. The materials are specifically engineered to resist collapse under vacuum. Gates recommends replacing clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed.
