Gates Automotive XL® V-belt is a tough, heavy-duty replacement V-belt for the most challenging engine drives. This variable notched belt tightens on the drive when it heats up due to thermal stresses in the vehicle engine, preventing slippage or belt loss, improving belt performance, and reducing noise. It features fiber-loaded rubber stock for higher lateral stability and improved flexibility, with form-ground accuracy for optimal pulley fit. Thermally active tensile cords provide maintenance-free performance, and XL Belts are resistant to oil, heat, ozone, weather, and aging, meeting or exceeding SAE J636C requirements.
