Overview

The Gates 23451 is a molded coolant hose designed as a direct replacement for the lower radiator hose on specific Pontiac G8 models. It is engineered with EPDM tube and cover materials, reinforced with synthetic fiber knit, to resist collapse under vacuum and electrochemical degradation. This hose meets SAE 20R4, Class D2 and DIN 73411, Class A standards and operates within a temperature range of -40 to +257 degrees Fahrenheit.

This Gates coolant hose is pre-shaped for a perfect fit and a securely sealed connection. It is crucial to replace hose clamps with new ones each time a coolant hose is installed and to avoid using this hose for fuel or oil transfer applications. It is specifically designed for the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 Base and GT models, as well as the 2009 G8 GXP.
