Description

The Gates 85749 TR500 High-Temp Air Brake Engine Hose is designed for air brake, high-temperature pressurized oil return, rotary oil/air compressor, engine and transmission coolant, and lube oil lines. It meets DOT FMVSS 106-74 and SAE J1402 standards for air brake hose (4, 6, 8, 10) and is not recommended for gasoline or diesel fuel applications. The hose features a Nitrile tube, high-tensile steel wire reinforcement, and an oil and mildew resistant textile braid cover, offering a temperature range of -40°F to +250°F and a working pressure of 500 lb/in².
