Description

The Gates FleetRunner 38730 is a heavy-duty automatic belt drive tensioner assembly featuring a chrome-silicone round torsion spring, optimized components, and a patented damping mechanism for enhanced durability and performance. It includes two unflanged steel pulleys with dust shields, designed for V-Ribbed belts with smooth/backside contact surfaces. This tensioner is engineered to exceed OEM requirements and has shown up to 3X longer life than competitive aftermarket tensioners in extreme vibration and contamination tests.
