The Gates 70240 is a hydraulic hose designed for high-pressure applications. It features a black, oil-resistant synthetic rubber tube (Nitrile - Type C) and a black, oil and abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber cover (Modified Nitrile - Type C2). The hose is reinforced with two braids of high-tensile steel wire.
