Description

This hydraulic hose is designed for fleet applications, specifically recommended for air brake hose, pressurized hot oil return lines, and rotary oil/air compressor lines. It meets SAE J1405 performance specifications for high-temperature transmission and lubricating oil systems using petroleum-base oils. Not recommended for gasoline or diesel fuel applications. The hose features an oil and mildew resistant textile braid cover impregnated with synthetic rubber. Its reinforcement consists of one braid of high-tensile steel wire. The tube is made from GTS (Gates Technical Spec.) black compound for temperature and chemical resistance (CPE - Type J). It operates in a temperature range of -40°F to +300°F (-40°C to +149°C) for petroleum-base fluids and -40°F to +212°F (-40°C to +100°C) for phosphate ester fluids. It meets SAE J1405 industry specifications.
