Overview

The Gates Truflex V-belt, MPN 1460, is a low horsepower V-belt designed for various applications, including industrial light-duty, general-purpose drives, and certain automotive auxiliary applications. It features flex-bonded cords for equal load distribution and bending stress absorption, and Gates Curves for proper cord support and uniform wear, leading to increased belt life. The Flex-Weave® Cover provides extended protection from oil, dirt, and heat. This belt meets RMA oil and heat-resistant standards and static conductivity requirements, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. It has a thin profile, designed for small-diameter sheaves, and a lower cord positioning to improve belt performance on light-duty belt drives and in backside idler applications. It is engineered for applications requiring superior performance, reliability, and quality from fractional horsepower (FHP) motors and light-duty applications.
