Description

The Gates 70540 is a high-temperature hydraulic hose designed for various fluid applications. It features a black, oil and heat-resistant synthetic rubber tube (CPE - Type J) and a green polyester braid cover that is oil and mildew resistant. The hose is reinforced with two braids: one of high-tensile steel wire over one of polyester.

This hose is suitable for use with petroleum-based or phosphate ester fluids, diesel fuels, transmission coolant lines, hot lube oil lines, power steering, gasoline, and turbocharger oil supplies, as well as tilt cab cylinders and air brakes. It meets SAE J1402 Type All, SAE J30R2, and SAE J1405 specifications, as well as DOT FMVSS 106-74 Type All.
