Description

The Gates 70966 is a hydraulic hose designed for high-pressure applications. It features a black, oil and chemical resistant synthetic rubber tube (CPE - Type J) and a blue, oil and abrasion resistant synthetic rubber cover (CSM - Type M). The reinforcement consists of two braids of high-tensile steel wire.

This hose is recommended for extremely high-temperature, high-pressure hydraulic applications that exceed SAE 100R2, ISO 1436 2SN R2, and EN 853 2SN standards. It also offers resistance to petroleum-base or phosphate ester fluids and meets SAE J1942 requirements.
