Description

The Gates 86607 is a medium-pressure hydraulic hose designed for petroleum-based oil lines, lube oil, air, and water applications. It meets SAE 100R5, DOT FMVSS 106-74 Type AII, and SAE J1402 Type AII standards, making it suitable for air brakes, power steering (heavy-duty commercial vehicles only), turbocharger oil supplies, tilt cab cylinders, transmission coolant, and filtration lines. It features a black, oil and mildew resistant polyester braid cover, high-tensile carbon steel wire and polyester reinforcement, and a synthetic rubber tube. Not recommended for gasoline or diesel fuel.
