The Gates 18557 is a molded heater hose designed for smaller engine compartments. It is suitable for coolant, water, and air applications, as well as marine use. This hose features an EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and an EPDM cover for durability.

It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +135°C (-40°F to +275°F) and meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 standards. The hose is curated to prevent electrochemical degradation, a common cause of hose failure. It is recommended to replace hose clamps with every new coolant hose installation.
