The Gates 28410 is a heater hose designed for cars and light trucks. Constructed from EPDM material, it is unaffected by most coolants, non-oil based coolant additives, and high cooling system pressures. This hose offers good resistance to high temperatures for extended periods, prolonging its service life and contributing to a more efficient engine. It meets SAE 20R3 Standard Wall Class D-2 requirements and has a working pressure of 60 psi.

This hose is intended for applications such as transporting hot coolant from the engine to the heater core for optimal cabin heating. It is not recommended for heavy-duty trucks, buses, or off-road construction equipment; for those applications, the Green Stripe™ heater hose should be used.
