Overview

The Gates Super HC PowerBand V-Belt is engineered for drives where single belts vibrate, turn over, or jump off the pulleys. It features Flex-Bonded tensile cords for equal load distribution and bending stress absorption, and a Flex-Weave™ cover for extended protection against oil, dirt, and heat. The concave sidewalls ensure proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove, leading to uniform wear and increased belt life. The unique Tie Band provides high lateral rigidity, keeping the belt in a straight line and preventing it from coming off the drive.
