Description

The Gates 5V850 is a 5-rib, 85-inch outside length V-belt designed for heavy industry applications. It features a wrapped edge construction and is made from Neoprene for flexibility and resistance to abrasion and heat. The belt's reinforcing cord is made of Polyester, providing heat and stretch resistance.

This banded V-belt has a wedge design, meaning it has a smaller top width and deeper profile than classical V-belts, allowing it to transfer more power. It is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 180°F and a minimum of -22°F. The belt is also resistant to oil.
