Description

The Gates 5VX570 is a cogged V-belt designed for heavy-duty industrial applications. It features a 5VX cross-section with a nominal outside length of 57 inches and a top width of 5/8 inch per strand. The belt is constructed from Ethylene Elastomer (EE) and is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250°F.

This belt meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 oil and heat resistant standards, as well as IP-3-3 static conductivity requirements. The molded notch design provides proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove for uniform loading and wear, contributing to increased belt life. Narrow cross-sections like the 5VX can transmit up to three times the horsepower of classical cross-sections in the same drive space.
