Description

The Gates 20840 is a premium molded coolant hose manufactured to fit specific applications with OEM-quality specifications. Its specially designed materials resist collapse under vacuum and electrochemical degradation, a common cause of hose failure. The hose features an EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and a heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. It meets SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A standards (except for tolerances) and operates within a temperature range of -40 degrees C to +125 degrees C (-40 degrees F to +257 degrees F).
