The Gates 9605 is an automotive XL High Capacity V-Belt designed for demanding engine drives. This variable notched belt tightens as it heats up, preventing slippage and reducing noise. It is form-ground for precise fit and meets SAE J636C specifications. The belt features fiber-loaded rubber stock for flexibility and stability, and is resistant to oil, heat, ozone, weather, and aging. Thermally-active tensile cords provide maintenance-free performance when properly installed and tensioned.
