The Gates 85693 Hydraulic Hose (8C5EX50FT) is a medium-pressure hose suitable for high-temperature applications including air brake, power steering (heavy-duty commercial only), engine/transmission coolant, and hot lube oil lines. It features a synthetic rubber cover, steel wire and polyester braid reinforcement, and a Nitrile tube, designed for temperatures from -40°F to +300°F. It meets DOT, USARCCC, USASAE FMVSS, SAE J1405, and SAE J1402 Type A1 standards.
