Description

The Gates 70978 is an EFG6K Spiral Wire Hose, meeting SAE 100R15 standards. This hydraulic hose is designed for extremely high pressure applications, with a maximum working pressure of 6000 PSI and a burst pressure of 24000 PSI. It features a black, oil-resistant synthetic rubber tube and is reinforced with four alternating layers of spiraled, high-tensile steel.

The hose can operate within a temperature range of -40 Deg. F to +250 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C to +121 Deg. C). It meets the MSHA 2G flame resistance designation and is recommended for use with GlobalSpiral, GlobalSpiral MAX Pressure, and Stainless Steel S Couplings. This hose has an inside diameter of 0.5 inches, an outside diameter of 0.95 inches, and comes in a 200-foot length.
