The Gates Engine Timing Belt Component Kit offers a complete repair solution including a belt that provides quiet, reliable, low-maintenance performance, with superior resistance to contamination, heat, and wear. The kit includes an OE timing belt, pulley, idler, and hydraulic tensioner (as necessary). The belt is engineered to run maintenance-free. The tensile cord is reinforced with aramid-fiber gripping teeth and high-saturation HNBR elastomeric composites that result in exceptional durability and heat resistance. The PTFE-infused belt-tooth jacket is reinforced with high-performance nylon material to reduce frictional losses and tooth shear.
