Description

The Gates 18705 is a premium molded heater hose designed for smaller engine compartments. It can be used for coolant, water, and air applications and is approved for marine use. The hose features an EPDM tube, synthetic fiber reinforcement, and an EPDM lid.

This hose meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications. It operates within a temperature range of -40°F to +275°F. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps with each new coolant hose installation and advises against using this hose for fuel or oil transfer.
