The Gates A40 is a Hi-Power II V-belt designed for industrial and agricultural power transmission applications. It features an A-section design with a top width of 0.5 inches and a nominal thickness of 0.31 inches. The belt has an outside circumference of 42 inches and is constructed from EPDM material with polyester cords.

This belt is resistant to oil, heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging. It meets RMA oil and heat resistant standards and RMA static conductivity requirements. The Flex-Weave cover offers protection from environmental factors and is suitable for clutching applications, while the Flex-Bonded Cords ensure uniform load distribution and cord integrity.
