Overview
Constructed from EPDM material, this hose is intended for use on cars and light trucks. It is unaffected by most coolants, non-oil based coolant additives, and high cooling system pressures. The hose can withstand high temperatures for extended periods, contributing to its longevity and an efficient engine.
This heater hose meets SAE 20R3 Standard Wall Class D-2 requirements and has a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C (-40°F to +257°F). It has a working pressure of 50 psi. The hose measures 3/4 inches in inside diameter and comes in a 250-foot reel. It is explicitly not recommended for heavy-duty trucks, buses, or off-road construction equipment; the Green Stripe™ heater hose should be used for those applications.
