The Gates K080850HD is a FleetRunner Heavy-Duty Micro-V Serpentine Drive Belt, engineered for the toughest applications. This "OE Improved" grade belt utilizes a patented EPDM material that ensures peak performance, even at prolonged extreme operating temperatures. Constructed with a polyester cord material, this 8-rib belt has a top width of 1.087 inches (28 mm) and an effective length of 85.08 inches (2161 mm). The Gates K080850HD is presented as a problem solver, consistently outperforming other heavy-duty serpentine belts on the market and engineered to save fleets money and reduce downtime. This belt is designed for specific Freightliner models, including the FL112 (2004), FLD112 (2004), FLD120 (2004), Classic (2003-2004), and Columbia (2001-2004), often in conjunction with a Caterpillar C12 Diesel engine for fan, alternator, and hub functions. A note recommends tensioner replacement if equipped for optimal performance.
