This Gates PolarSeal® Hose is recommended for liquid and gaseous R134a and R12 refrigerants in automotive air conditioning and industrial systems (tractors, construction trucks, mobile and stationary refrigeration units). It is designed to minimize permeation of R134a refrigerant. It features a black synthetic rubber (EPDM) cover, two layers of spiral polyester reinforcement, and a black synthetic rubber (Chloroprene - Type A) tube with a nylon barrier liner. It has a temperature range of -22°F to +257°F (-30°C to +125°C) and meets SAE J2064 Type C, Class 2, and SAE J51 Type A2 & D specifications.
