Upgrade the bottom end of your 1997.5–2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins Diesel with the Gator Fasteners HD220 Heavy Duty Main Stud Kit (MSK5924). Manufactured from Gator’s proprietary HD220 alloy, these 12mm main studs deliver industry-leading tensile strength (over 220,000 PSI), providing superior clamp load and fatigue resistance compared to ARP’s 8740 chromoly main studs. This ensures your main caps stay secure, preventing cap walk and bottom-end failures in high-performance, towing, or daily-driven applications. The black oxide finish offers excellent corrosion protection, and each stud is precision-machined for a direct fit on 5.9L Cummins blocks. This kit is specifically designed for 1997.5–2007 5.9L Cummins engines with 12mm main cap fasteners. It will not fit early 1997 and older engines with 14mm main cap fasteners (use MSK5912 for those applications). For 2003–07 Common Rail trucks, note that the factory girdle/block stiffener cannot be retained with this kit; use MSK59CR if girdle retention is required.
