The Gator Fasteners HD220 Heavy Duty Main Stud Kit (MSK6973IDI) is an essential upgrade for 1983-1994 Ford 6.9L and 7.3L IDI Diesel engines. Made from proprietary HD220 alloy with over 220,000 PSI tensile strength, this kit includes studs, 12-point nuts, and hardened washers with a black oxide finish. It is specifically designed for IDI diesel engines and is not compatible with Power Stroke models, preventing head lift under extreme cylinder pressures for high-performance or heavy towing applications.
