The GC Fabrications GC2 Half Cage is engineered to elevate the driving experience for Mazda MX-5 NA (Mk1) and NB (Mk2) models, serving as a track day essential for enhanced performance and safety. Beyond its protective function in potential rollovers, this half cage significantly boosts chassis rigidity, leading to improved handling dynamics. It is constructed from MSA-specified CDS seamless tube, ensuring durability and safety, and is welded by qualified fabricators. This half cage features a double diagonal brace for superior protection and a built-in harness bar that allows for full seat movement. It is designed for compatibility with all Right-Hand Drive (RHD) and Left-Hand Drive (LHD) Mk1, Mk2, and 2.5 models. Furthermore, it accommodates soft tops, glass or plastic rear windows, and hard tops, offering versatile fitment. The GC2 Half Cage includes a high-tensile fixing kit complete with sandwich plates for secure installation. The roll cage comes with a zinc-primed and satin black powder-coated finish for lasting aesthetics.
