GCMAX Twin Turbocharger Upgrade Kit, S55

The Vargas Turbo Technologies VTT-S55-GCMAX is an evolution of their GC Series turbocharger upgrades, specifically designed for BMW S55 engines. This kit pushes the limits of performance by incorporating enlarged internal flow paths, optimized A/R ratios, and a maximized 2.5-inch inlet diameter. The compressor wheel is increased to a 67mm size, and the turbine housing has been completely retooled to accept a 54mm G25-series turbine wheel, which is key to achieving high power output with low back pressure and rapid spool. Constructed with 310 Stainless Steel turbine housings for superior heat and corrosion resistance, and featuring 67mm 9-blade point-milled compressor wheels for maximum flow and surge resistance, the GCMAX is built for durability and performance. The design allows for direct bolt-on installation to all factory oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe connections. It also includes redesigned bearing housing oiling and an upgraded thrust bearing for enhanced reliability. Unlike some upgrades, there is no core charge, allowing you to keep your original units. This turbocharger kit is capable of supporting up to 1000 WHP on stock engines and has demonstrated impressive performance, including a 9.44 @ 146mph pass in a stock motor G80. It offers a true bolt-on solution for achieving high horsepower without the complexity of a single turbo conversion, retaining factory response and packaging. While the GCMAX offers gains on its own, for optimal performance, supporting modifications such as fuel system upgrades, an upgraded intake, downpipes, an intercooler, and a proper ECU tune are strongly advised. The VTT GCMAX Turbocharger Upgrade Kit is designed to fit the BMW F80 M3 (2012-2019), F82 M4 (2013-2019), F83 M4 (2013-2019), and F87 M2 Competition (2016-2019) models with the S55 3.0L engine.
