GDI Fuel Injector

The Standard Motor Products FJ1217 is a new, direct-type GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) fuel injector, engineered to serve as a precise OEM replacement. This injector is built for durability and performance, featuring a stainless steel calibration slide and spring assembly that prevents corrosion within the fuel control body, contributing to an extended service life. The solenoid windings are precision-wound and trimmed to allow the engine computer to command efficient fuel delivery, while laser-drilled spray holes ensure optimal fuel atomization for improved performance and fuel economy. Constructed from high-grade steel material, this injector is resistant to corrosion. Included with the FJ1217 are the necessary O-rings, and it features a male blade terminal with a quantity of two. The specifications include a black color/finish and a direct system type. Standard Motor Products recommends replacing all injectors simultaneously on high-mileage vehicles to ensure consistent fuel delivery across all cylinders. This fuel injector is compatible with select 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014-2019 GMC Sierra models, as well as 2014-2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2015-2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, and GMC Yukon models.
