The Xtreme-DI XDI-i010-50 is a set of four direct injection (GDI) fuel injectors engineered for high-output Ford EcoBoost engines, specifically targeting performance enthusiasts. These injectors boast a substantial increase in fuel flow capacity, rated at 2000cc/min at 100 bar and an impressive 3000cc/min at 220 bar. This represents a significant upgrade from the OEM flow rates, which are approximately 1220cc/min for the Focus ST and 1320cc/min for the Focus RS. These high-flow injectors are crucial for supporting substantial performance modifications, such as larger turbocharger installations, aggressive engine tuning, and the use of higher ethanol content fuels like E85. The XDI-i010-50 injectors are a key component for achieving higher horsepower and torque figures in modified EcoBoost vehicles.
