The Motul Gear 300 LS 75W90 is a 100% synthetic lubricant formulated with an ester base, engineered for the demanding requirements of high-performance mechanical transmissions and racing vehicles. This versatile fluid is suitable for a wide range of gearboxes and differentials, including synchronized or non-synchronized units, integrated or separate gearbox/differentials, transfer gearboxes, and hypoid differentials equipped with limited slip systems. It performs exceptionally well under shock conditions, heavy loads with low revolution speeds, or moderate loads with high revolution speeds, offering improved transmission efficiency compared to a 75W-140 grade. Engineered for extreme pressure applications, the Gear 300 LS provides efficient anti-wear protection, superior resistance at high temperatures, and extended service life. It features a special friction modifier to prevent limited slip differential noise or dragging. The lubricant maintains fluidity at low temperatures, ensuring easier gear shifting in cold conditions and reduced effort on the gear lever. It is compatible with all types of seals and materials commonly found in gearbox and limited slip differential designs, and includes anti-corrosion and anti-foam properties. Key specifications include a 75W-90 viscosity grade, API GL-5 standard compliance, a viscosity index of 161, a flash point of 200°C (392°F), and a pour point of -42°C (-43.6°F). The oil comes in a 1-liter bottle.
