The PRW Dual Idler Gear Drive is a replacement for your vehicle's timing chain. It features steel alloy gears for longevity and axial needle and cage thrust bearings or silicon bronze bushings to reduce friction. Unlike timing chains, gear drives do not stretch or wear prematurely under extreme conditions. This specific model is designed for Chevy 396-454 engines from 1966-1990 and operates with a noisy profile. It is made in the USA.
