The CTS Turbo Precision GEN 2 6266 turbocharger represents a significant upgrade for performance enthusiasts, engineered to deliver up to 800 horsepower. This unit leverages the latest in turbocharger technology, incorporating Precision's exclusive GEN2 CEA® (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) for both the compressor and turbine wheels. The compressor wheel, machined from a 2618-aluminum forging, offers enhanced efficiency and quicker response times, crucial for maximizing power output and minimizing lag. At its core, the PT6266 GEN2 CEA® features an air-cooled, dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA), ensuring durability and smooth operation under demanding conditions. The compressor cover is available in a "Ported S" configuration with a 4.0″ inlet and 2.5″ outlet. The turbine side boasts a CEA® 66mm, 76 trim wheel, and a variety of turbine housing options are available to suit different setups, including T3, T4, and V-Band configurations with various A/R ratios and discharge types.
